It’s the Message not the Mask!

It’s the Message not the Mask!

‘Watching all the recent news from around the globe, I saw people wearing printed cloth masks and it set my mind a thinking! Where are they getting them from? How are they printed? Can I do a better job?’

Brian Hammond and Mark Bennett, both having spent over 30 years within the print industry, saw the potential and methodology to deliver “in your face” messages. The walking billboard was everywhere and, and they soon established that no one was commercialising this extraordinary happening.

Henosis, Greek for unity, was created for clients that bought into the idea of ‘Your brand – protecting lives’.

Brian and Mark pioneered the manufacture of printed 3- ply facemasks. After months of research, planning and investment into ground- breaking new technology, Henosis Masks are now producing Type I printed masks. Their current production is over 200,000 masks a day and is set to rise, as the UK economy fights back against COVID-19.

Manufacturing is based in Leeds as this allows access to a skilled labour market, meets customer demand for short, trusted supply chains and means business can turnaround client orders for bespoke masks in a matter of days. This is truly a UK product for a UK market.

Branded Masks. Printing Ingenuity.

Following in the tradition of great British inventors, the Henosis’ team have come up with a completely new way of printing masks. Their ingenuity has increased the speed and accuracy of printing masks; this process being a world first!

‘Having worked in the print industry for almost 30 years, I could see the challenges from printing sharp images onto 3-ply facemasks but could also see the solution’, says Mark, Co-Founder and Head of Production. He continued, ‘After researching whether anyone else was already doing this and coming up with a blank, I decided this was something I needed to build’.

Market Demand

For the same cost of buying unbranded masks imported from overseas, UK firms wanting to promote their brand whilst protecting their customers health can buy branded masks made in Britain. Whether it as an order of 500,000 for promoting brand awareness or just 5,000 for tactical marketing for specific events, digital printing allows for accuracy and flexibility for all print runs.

Brian, Co-Founder and Head of Sales, had commented: ‘Covid-19 changed the face of the global print industry yet my clients in the UK, Europe, Middle East and beyond were still asking me to come up with innovative branding solutions’.

‘Having worked with Mark in the past, I knew his ability to create world-leading engineering solutions in the print industry would enable us to bring something truly ground-breaking to the advertising and branding sector’, enthused Brian.

The more that organisations learn of the option of printed masks, the more that innovative ideas can be generated.

The interest is huge, and potential is global.

So many logos, brands and messages for clients, from all areas of the economy. Sporting clubs, industry, universities, councils, supermarkets and anywhere where masks are needed and a branded message included, especially at major gatherings.

The latest use of printed masks can be doubled up as ‘tickets’ to venues, such as sporting events, conferences and all gatherings where masks will enable the events to take place.

For restaurants, bars and hotels, the low-cost masks, offer a free solution for clients, with the benefit of marketing. If customers did not know you were open for business, seeing your logo, on your client’s masks, will clear that up!

Bar coding of masks can enable lots of anonymous data to be collected, to aid essential services to finally defeat lock down, save the economy and corner the virus. This would allow reasonable time to ensure that vaccinations will work and may only cause some mild side effects.
